AGM Fuzion LRF TM35-640 Thermal/Night Vision Fusion Monocular

The FUZION LRF TM35-640 is a high-end fusion camera and features a 640x512 detector (12µm), a 35mm objective lens and a laser rangefinder. With fusion, a thermal image is combined with digital (optical) night vision, adding a new dimension to thermal imaging. With this scope, you can see beyond the limits of nature and benefit from a viewing distance of up to 1.7 kilometers. The control menu can be set in numerous Western and Eastern European languages. 

What exactly is image fusion?

"Image fusion" incorporates the latest technology and provides a mix of a thermal image and a black/white optical night vision image. While the environment in visible image is displayed in unprecedented clarity, the hottest objects in the image become instantly visible based on their heat source. For example, you can view the trees in the forest with full detail, while the outline of a human/animal is highlighted in a striking color.

Fusion, thermal image, night vision and optical image

The AGM Fuzion LRF is a true 4-in-1 camera. Because in addition to image fusion, you can also switch off one of the two functions. For example, you can use thermal imaging only, to easily detect people or animals, without being distracted by the rest of the environment. In the main menu, you then choose the "detection" function instead of "jungle". You can choose from four color palettes: black hot, white hot, red hot and full-color. If you want to see the surroundings only in visible image, you can also choose to use only night vision. You can use this function in all situations where there is any kind of residual light present. Think of starlight, clear skies or lampposts that are at a distance. Finally, you can use the AGM Fuzion LRF as a digital camera during the day.

Features of the viewer

The AGM TM35-640 LRF has a 35mm objective lens. This provides an optical magnification of 2x that you can increase to 16x with a digital zoom. Because of the large FOV of 12.5 x 10 degrees you see a large part of the environment. The image is projected in real time (50hz) on a crisp 0.39 "OLED display with a 1024x768 resolution. You can adjust the brightness and contrast. Using the manual focus you can always focus the environment to your own preference. The CMOS sensor, which provides the optical image, is able to "see" at a wavelength of 400 to 1000nm. This gives you a clear image even in dark situations.

Everything you see you can capture in photos and videos. These are stored on the internal 16GB memory. You can also connect the viewer with Wi-fi. This allows you to watch live via your smartphone/tablet, control the camera remotely and take recordings remotely. You can do this, for example, with the free T-Vision app, which is available for both Android and iOS.

Specifications of the laser beam

Using the built-in laser rangefinder, you can measure distances to animals, people and objects. The distance to the target you are focusing on is shown on the display. The laser beam has a range of up to 600m and an accuracy of about 1m. The laser has a wavelength of 905nm, is classified in the Laser Safety Class 1 and is therefore eye-safe. This is the highest safety class, but despite this, it is still not recommended to look into the source or beam.

Physical characteristics

On the right side of the body is a comfortable, leather hand strap. This allows you to hold the viewer securely at all times. Power is provided by one 18650 battery (two rechargeable batteries and a charger are included as standard). This provides a usage time of no less than five hours, which you can extend by using the standby mode. You can also connect an external power source such as a power bank or continuous power supply. The camera is easy to carry thanks to its light weight and compact size. Its IP67 certification also means it performs optimally in harsh weather conditions and challenging environments.
