The Samyang 8mm f/2.8 Fisheye Fuji x Objective Black is a high quality Ultra wide angle lens exclusively designed for compact system cameras.

Partens offers a huge field of vision - 180 degrees, With a 12mm (35mm equivalent) visual field. The 8mm is a diagonal Fisheye-lens for APS-C format, which means that the image fills the frame on APS-C cameras. As with all current Samyang lenses, only manual focus is possible. The lens is compact and light, so that it forms a perfect combination with compact system cameras.

The optical construction of the lens consists of 10 elements in 8 groups including an aspherical and two ED elements for optimum optical performance. The diaphragm consists of six aperture leashs that make a diagra possible from f/2.8 to f/22. The lens has an internal focus (IF) system which means that the lens does not change size when focusing. In addition, the Samyang 8mm Fisheye is equipped with the latest generation of multi-layer anti-reflection Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) that minimizes Flare and Ghosting. The integrated sun hood also helps to reduce Flare from behind the lens.

Due to the large depth of field due to its small focal length, Focus can easily be achieved by simply seting the estimated distance on the lens scale. Setting the lens up to about 1m in f/8 will produce images that are sharp from very close to the infinite. As with all manual focus lenses, you can use live view to manually fine-tune in critical or very close focus situations.

The Samyang 8mm F/2.8 Fish-Eye Lens is also suitable For producing panoramas and 360 -degree virtual tours, including full 360 ?? degrees photos using various software packages.
