The widest rectalinear lens for full frame The Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL is currently the widest non-fisheye lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras. The ultra-wide 135° wide angle of view and well-corrected distortion allow you to realize one-of-a-kind shots. Advanced Optical System At the heart of the lens are 14 optical elements arranged in 10 groups. Two aspherical lenses and two extra-low dispersion glasses reduce chromatic aberration, and distortion to a minimum. One of the other lenses is made of glass with a high refractive index. Inside the lens we find a five-blade aperture, which can be maximally closed to the value of f/22. Such an advanced design managed to be enclosed in a compact and lightweight housing. For full values we can feel a distinct click, but nothing stands in the way of smooth adjustment of this parameter to intermediate values.
