Saramonic SR-XM1 is a miniature electret microphone designed to work with VDSLR cameras, cameras and DVRs.
SR-XM1 despite its small size, can significantly improve the quality of the audio recording, compared to most built-in microphones in audio and video. Omni microphone can capture sounds from around the operator environment. Rubber damper on which is mounted a microphone capsule, suppressing camera shake, effectively reducing the noise.
miniature size and low weight SR-XM1 allow fixing it directly to the mini jack camera, video camera or other recording device. Targeting the microphone in a desired direction enables the joint angle.

The Saramonic SR-XM1 is an ultra-compact condenser microphone that captures crystal clear broadcast-quality sound, even though it weighs less than an ounce. It was designed to be plugged directly into the 1/8” (3.5mm) Microphone Input on DSLR, Mirrorless and Video cameras to add a low-profile yet high-quality microphone and drastically improve the sound over those camera’s included microphone. In addition, it’s compatible with the Saramonic UWMIC9, UWMIC10, and UWMIC15 transmitters as well as the SmartRig+ series and LavMic. The SR-XM1 is also the replacement microphone accessory for the CaMixer and SmartMixer.

The SR-XM1 features an integrated swivel, so it can easily be pointed directly at the sound you want to capture. Its omnidirectional pickup pattern provides smooth and even sounding audio, and its built-in shockmount helps you avoid recording unwanted vibration and handling noise. Not only is this microphone ultra-compact and lightweight, it also never needs batteries or charging.

In addition to being used with cameras and Saramonic gear, the SR-XM1 is also compatible with 1/8“ (3.5mm) microphone inputs on a wide variety of equipment. You can attach it to portable audio recorders, mixers, and it can even be used as a high-quality microphone for the GoPro Hero5, Hero5 Session, Hero6, and Hero7 action cameras when you use it with the GoPro Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter (sold separately).

The Saramonic Mini Microphone SR-XM1 3.5 mm TRS is a compact microphone that allows you to increase the quality of general sound recordings. The compact condensor microphone features a TRS 3.5 mm jackplug, which means you can use it with your camera, camcorder, audio mixer or wireless transmitter, for example (see optional accessories).

The included pop cap ensures that unwanted noises such as wind noise are filtered out and your recording is not disturbed. The mini-microphone is also equipped with a shock absorber. This ensures that the sound is not distorted when moving.

Usage Saramonic Mini Microphone SR-XM1 3.5mm TRS

The SmartMic is an ideal tool for any general sound recording, such as the production of a vlog or a holiday video. With the SR-XM1 you can add just that little bit of extra quality to perfect your recording.

Despite its small size, the SR-XM1 allows to significantly improve the quality of recorded sound, compared to most microphones built into audio and video devices. The omnidirectional microphone characteristics allow for capturing sounds from the operator's entire environment. A rubber shock absorber on which the microphone capsule is mounted dampens camera shake, effectively reducing interference. The SR-XM1's compact size and low weight allow it to be mounted directly into the mini jack of the camera, camera or other recording device. An angle joint allows the microphone to be directed in the desired direction. A foam wind shield is included with the microphone to reduce noise from gusts of wind.
