Install

1. Install the adapter on the connecting rod (and then install a microphone on the adapter)

2. Pass the connecting rod through the connecting plate and then fix it with the nut. (The connecting rod can move forward and backward to adjust the position)

3. Install the support nut. Use the isolation shield on the desk.

4. If used with a ¬floor stand, x the washer and the screw on the connecting plate, then mount the isolation shield on a ¬floor stand. (Install a 5/8” to 3/8” adapter if needed)

The BY-RF5P by Boya is a universal acoustic screen, which allows you to absorb unwanted noise and reverberation from the surroundings of your studio microphone. On the BY-RF5P are approximately 400 spikes, made of EVA foam. With these, the BY-RF5P is able to create - in combination with a Boya studio microphone - the perfect set-up for studio-quality voiceovers, podcasts and vocals. You screw the BY-RF5P to a lamp stand of your choice with the 3/8" female thread. Of course, it is also possible to place the BY-RF5P on a table, thanks to the six feet on the bottom. The built-in bracket has a base with a 5/8" male connection. The studio microphone is screwed to this. You can adjust the distance to the foam background yourself, depending on the size of the microphone. In the optional accessories you will find microphones that we recommend. Optionally, you can also omit the adapter and place a microphone with 3/8" connection on the BY-RF5P's base.

If you want to make high-quality voice recordings at home, in the office or on location without annoying reverb or unwanted background noise, the BY-RF5P is an indispensable accessory. In combination with your studio microphone, you will enjoy an extremely high sound quality, in which all the details of the voice come into their own. The BY-RF5P has a size of 71x28 cm. During transport, the BY-RF5P folds up to only 24x28 cm. Studio microphones up to 1 kg are suitable to be placed on the BY-RF5P. The BY-RF5P is equipped with durable EVA foam (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), with a thickness of 4.5 cm. Ventilation holes in the BY-RF5P's housing ensure optimal sound dispersion.
