FLIR Scout III 320 Thermal Imaging Camera

The FLIR Scout III 320 is the newest compact and lightweight thermal imaging camera from FLIR. This new model has been equipped with an higer refreshrate 30Hz than his predecessor, the Flir Scout II 9Hz. The Scout III provides a clear and sharp image from early morning until late at night and in the middle of the night. With this price thermal imaging has also become accessible to the public. When you use infrared you will always see the same image, whether you are in full light or complete darkness.

;The advantage of thermal imaging over night vision equipment is that you also notice if something or someone is in the wood or behind some bushes. You will not need any kind of light to get a clear picture with a thermal imaging camera. The FLIR Scout III fits easily in one hand and can also be operated with one hand. Making the Scout III perfect for walkers, nature lovers and hunters.

This thermal imaging camera has been equipped with the so called InstantAlert technology. This technology colors the hottest object(s) on your display red. This color red can be adjusted to three difference modes.

These products are controlled for export under US Department of Commerce (DOC), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) 6A003.b.4.b. These cameras contain a focal plane array controlled to 6A002.a.3.f. U.S. Government authorization may be required for all destinations except Canada.

For a permanent export you need to make a license determination. Things that must be
;considered are: purpose for export, country of destination, intended end user and intended end use. In some cases, a license exception may apply. Should it be determined a license is required, this process may take 45-60 days.
