The LS-P1 supports linear PCM recording at bit rates up to 24 bits and sampling frequencies as high as 96 kHz – far surpassing the 44.1kHz/ 16 bits of CD-quality audio.

The True Stereo Mic with two directional microphones positioned at a 90° layout, enables high quality recording with a realistic stereo feeling that can differentiate the position and the distance of the players on a stage. The recording is highly precise, letting you feel as if you are actually in the recording scene.
Manual recording level settings
The Manual Recording Level setting let you fine-tune the recording level to match the volume of your sound source, maximizing the dynamic range for high quality audio recording. This is a particularly important function when recording music. The Limiter function is effective for keeping volume below a specific level when using the Manual setting. By checking the recording level meter on the LCD display and PEAK display indicator, you can fine-tune your recording levels.
Professional Level Amplifier Circuits

The built-in USB connector can be easily deployed and stored using the slide lever. With this feature, you can connect directly to a computer without using a cable or software. Zoom microphone for recording from a distance
With the latest directional quality control technologies, switching to directional microphone mode unleashes the power of proximity recording in noisy environments, such as at lectures or when recording from a distant position. You can adjust the directivity by operating with the "-" and "+" buttons. The new zoom microphone mode adjusts the recording level higher according to the zoom.
Intelligent Auto Mode - Does the adjusting for you
To make listening to your recordings more comfortable, the Intelligent Auto Mode adjusts the microphone sensitivity to match the volume of the sound source. When a speaker is talking loudly, the recorder reduces the input level, and for soft voices, the recorder increases the input level. In this way, the function automatically keeps track of the input level and simultaneously adjusts the recording level so that it always records at the best quality, providing an even level of volume
