Are you looking for a day and night vision binocular that always displays professional images? The Luna Optics LN-G3-B50 Pro is a 3rd generation digital night vision binocular with a 50mm lens and optical 6x magnification that can be digitally zoomed up to 39x. With a state-of-the-art AMOLED-Q display, laser rangefinder, 16.1 megapixel (!) photo recorder, and a viewing distance of up to 600m in complete darkness, the LN-G3-B50 pro offers performance that is unparalleled in the market.
The night vision mode you use depends on the environment you are in, what you want to see exactly, and at what distance you want to look. At night, you have a choice of no less than three options:
Whatever option you choose, do not forget to remove the color filter from the lens at night, as it will block infrared and ambient light.
When you can't see your hand in front of your face, that's when the night vision binocular really comes to life. The binocular is equipped with a powerful infrared emitter. You use this when there is hardly any or no light present at all, for example in a remote forest. The IR has an invisible 850nm beam and the glow is only visible up close. You can easily adjust the infrared beam in terms of power and angle.
In addition, the LN-G3-B50 Pro also has a built-in laser rangefinder. This allows you to measure the distance to objects, animals or people. When you look through the night vision binocular, you will see a 'dot'. You then aim this at an object and the binocular will immediately measure the distance. The laser has an invisible 905nm beam and a range of 10 to 1500 meters.
During the day, the LN-G3-B50 pro looks like a 4K camera. This is due to the special 'day mode', the color filter, and the AMOLED screen. The quality you see with this binocular during the day cannot be found in any other night vision binocular. This means that you use the device during the day as a digital camera and as binoculars. Even in twilight, you can observe with great detail for a long time. And when it gets too dark, you switch to one of the night modes, which you could read about earlier.
The device captures photos with a stunning resolution of up to 5360x3008 pixels (16.1MP) and records videos in 1080p at 60fps. These are stored on the 8GB microSD card and can be transferred to your computer or laptop using the microSD stick. The viewer features EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) to compensate for vibrations and correct blurriness. If you plan on taking a lot of footage, we recommend using a sturdy tripod, which can be found among the optional accessories.
Using the free 'Roadcam' app, you can control the LN-G3-B50-PRO with your smartphone or tablet (for Android and iOS). For example, you can view live footage on your smartphone. The device creates its own Wi-Fi signal, making it easy to connect your device.
The night vision binoculars are binocular, meaning you look through them with both eyes. This makes them very comfortable - even for extended use - because you don't have to constantly close one eye. You can use the device for up to 5 hours with the four included CR123A batteries. You can also power the binoculars continuously by connecting them to a power bank or laptop (using the supplied UBS-C cable). Extra-powerful CR123 batteries are also available as an option.
The night vision binoculars are an essential accessory for any demanding private user or professional who values quality, viewing distance, and comfort. You can use the binoculars for nature observation, for example, to see what is walking in the forest at night or for animal research. But it's also a handy tool for navigation, survival, hunting, security, rescue operations, or night photography. Because you can use this night vision binoculars effortlessly in daylight, it's possible to use them as a digital camera or binoculars during the day. Due to the 6 to 39x variable zoom, the binoculars are mainly suitable for medium to very long distances.
