Yongnuo YN 35mm f/2.0 DF DSM is a bright, full-frame lens with an extremely versatile focal length for cameras with the Sony E bayonet. The lens features quiet and accurate autofocus and an additional function button. An ideal choice for everyday, walking, landscape, street and reportage photography. Additional Function Button The lens is equipped with an additional button to which you can assign a function from the camera menu. The Fn key improves performance and reduces the time we have to spend finding our favorite option. Small and lightweight lens The body is made of metal, yet the entire design weighs only 295g . The compact size ( ⌀6.7 x 7.2 cm ) is sure to appeal to mirrorless camera users. It is a great lens for weekend walks and holiday travel. The low weight is also a big advantage for those using gimbals. Fast and accurate autofocus The lens is equipped with a DSM stepper motor, which makes focusing extremely precise, fast and quiet. The accurate autofocus works well for both stills and movies. "Bright glass" The f/2.0 aperture allows for soft background blur and beautiful bokeh effects. The large aperture also ensures that more light reaches the camera's sensor, making shooting in difficult lighting conditions much easier. Classical Optics The lens' simple optical design consists of 8 lenses arranged in 7 groups. In addition, the lenses are covered with coatings that minimize the risk of flare and flare while improving light transmission. 7-blade iris The lens' iris consists of 7 rounded blades. When it is closed, the photographer is able to achieve the effect of well-defined 14-pointed stars that will appear in the place of light points such as the sun or street lamps. Metal bayonet and gold-plated contacts The use of a robust metal bayonet and gold-plated contacts ensures that reliable communication between the lens and camera is maintained, and functions such as autofocus, iris control and EXIF data transfer are performed. Software Update The lens is equipped with a USB-C interface so that we can update its firmware. The latest software (downloadable from the manufacturer's website) , provides more efficient autofocus operation and compatibility with new cameras.
