Falcon Eyes Flexible Bi-Color LED Panel RX-48TDX 60x120 cm

The Falcon Eyes LED Panel RX-48TDX exists out of 1512 LEDs. This flexible LED mat has a CRI value of 95. With the newest technologies it is even possible to roll your panel like a cylinder, which you could use for example with 360° panorama photography. You can dim the light step-less till 100%. With the controller you can adjust the color temperature between 3000K and 5600K. The included Velcro tape gives you the opportunity to attach your flexible LED mat onto almost anything. You can put your flexible LED mat on the included X-frame, which gives you a rectangular LED panel. Because the LED panel is only 10mm thick and 1.3 kg you can easily take it with you. It is splash proof. The LED lamp can be used on mains power as well as with two 14.8V batteries (see optional accessories). Additionally, this LED mat can also be used in combination with a softbox and honeycomb, which are also optionally available.

The RX-48TDX is suitable for product- and portrait photography. You can take the RX-48TDX easily with you, which makes it ideal for photography on the go.

DMX panel connection

The lamp has an RJ45 plug to connect to a DMX panel. This allows you to control the light based on the DMX512 protocol. The last picture shows this connection.

The RX-48TDX from Falcon Eyes is a flexible LED panel that comes with a softbox, diffusion cloth and honeycomb. It is bi-color, delivers 300 watts of power, has a CRI of 95 and also allows you to set different theme effects for your video recordings. This flexible mat is splash proof. You can fold the RX-48TDX into any position and use it both on mains power and with a V-mount battery. In short: the perfect light for use at any location.

On the flexible mat there are 1512 small LED lights: 756x white and 756x yellow. This allows you to adjust the color temperature from 3000K (warm yellow light) to 5600K (daylight). You easily adjust the color temperature to the ambient light for a natural result. The lamp provides stable light without flickering. You can also steplessly add more or less power, up to a maximum of 300W. To soften the light you can use the softbox and diffuse cloth. To direct the light more you can use the honeycomb. These accessories are standard included in this set. Finally, you can use 9 theme effects - such as flashing lights, lightning and candlelight - to create lifelike situations.

The flex panel is suitable for use in your studio (mains power) and on location (with optional V-mount battery). The lamp comes with an X-bracket with universal spigot connection. This allows you to place the RX-48TDX on any common lamp stand.

What does TDX II mean?

The RX-48TDX II (TDX version 2) can be seen as an upgrade/re-style of the RX-48TDX. What has changed? In addition to the known functions, you can now also use 9 theme effects, such as flashing lights, lightning and candle light. This offers even more possibilities for video recordings. Also, the control menu has been changed to determine the settings - such as color temperature - of the lamp. To operate the RX-48TDX II remotely you need the RC-5B remote control (see optional accessories). Do you still have the regular RX-48TDX? Then you can control the lamp with the Falcon Eyes RC-3T. To control multiple TDX lamps centrally you now use DMX or the remote control.

Did you know that you can also control multiple lamps centrally and wirelessly? This can be done in the following ways:

- Wireless control of one or more lamps by means of RC-5B remote control (optionally available) This applies only to the new version. For the old version you need the RC-3B.
- Central operation of several TDX lamps from one control unit (set on channel A/B/C/D)
- Central operation of multiple TDX lamps using DMX

Use of the Velcro

With the led panel you will receive several strips of Velcro. The standard black velcro is used to connect multiple led panels. The black velcro with holes is used to attach a rope to the led panel, so you can hang the led panel somewhere. The white Velcro is used to attach the led panel to the headliner of your car.
