Samyang 14mm T3.1 ED AS IF UMC Lens is suitable for DSLRs. Super wide-angle lens for Full-Frame and APS-C sensored cameras. The VDSLR version of the popular 14mm lens has been specifically designed for Video / Cine purposes. This means that the aperture ring has been "de-clicked" providing ultra smooth and quiet control together with a geared focus ring (for follow-focus module attachment). The aperture and focus scale have been relocated to the side of the lens, to aid videographers.
Construction features 14 elements and 12 optical groups and comes with two ED lenses and two aspherical elements. Performance is enhanced by the addition of high quality anti-reflective UMC layers. Ultra Multi Coated are incorporated to minimise flare and ghosting. Manual focus only.
Samyang T3.1 14mm ED AS IF UMC Mk II was created based on the optical construction Samyang 14mm f2.8 ED AS IF UMC. The brightness determined number of transmission T3.1. A characteristic feature of the model are a rack cooperating with the system follow - focus, and aperture ring rotated continuously. With these modifications, it is possible extremely precise and noiseless operation sharpness and depth of field when shooting.
complicated optical design Samyang T3.1 14mm ED AS IF UMC is based on the fourteen elements arranged in ten groups. The lenses are coated with high quality anti-reflective coatings, the new generation of UMC, which makes the recorded images are of the highest quality.

TheSamyang 14mm T3.1 VDSLR II Canon lensis awide-angle manual video lens designed for full frame cameras. It was developed for professional film needs and impresses with its high aperture and excellent sharpness
The Samyang 14mm T3.1 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II lens is carefully designed for creating professional films and videos. You can change the aperture smoothly and quietly with the removable aperture ring. Distance scales and "T" values are marked on both sides of the lens for easy handling
The design of this lens consists of 14 elements in 10 groups including 3 high refractive index glasses, 2 extra low light scattering glasses, 1 aspherical element and 1 hybrid aspherical element. The aspherical and hybrid aspherical elements minimize color aberration to achieve exceptional image quality with high contrast to the center and corner of the frame even when the aperture is fully open.Low light scattering (ED) and high refractive index (HR) lenses effectively control light scattering, along with Ultra Multi Coating (UMC), which optimizes light transmission, to reduce unwanted flashes and shadows
FEATURES
Hybrid Aspherical (H-ASP)
Hybrid aspherical elements reduce color aberration to ensure perfect image quality and high contrast to the center and corner of the image even when the aperture is fully open
High refractive index (HR) and extra low light scattering (ED)
High refractive index and extra low light scattering effectively reduce chromatic aberration and unnecessary light scattering to ensure excellent image quality
Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) coating technology
Samyang Optics utilizes proprietary UMC coating technology to reduce flare and shadows to capture bright and lush color images
Aspherical Spherical Members (ASP)
Aspherical elements reduce color aberration to ensure perfect image quality and high contrast to the center and corner of the image even when the aperture is fully open
Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) coating technology
Samyang Optics uses its proprietary UMC coating technology to reduce flare and shadows to capture bright and lush color images
Removable sun hood and aperture ring
Soft and serrated rings (aperture and focus) are optimized for video shooting to provide comfortable and accurate capture of the surrounding environment
VDSLR II video lens
The Samyang 14mm T3.1 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II is one of the lenses making up the Samyang VDSLR Kit. These lenses produce the same image color and have a uniform aperture and focus ring position to ensure maximum shooting comfort.
