The receiver controls can switch between the first and second levels of amplification, while those of the transmitter have the option to enable attenuation or noise reduction. When recording outdoors, the foam windshield on the transmitter helps reduce wind noise. Built-in batteries allow the transmitter to operate for 6 hours and the receiver for 8 hours. When the batteries are dead, the entire system can be charged with the included charging case and used on the go.
