The Caruba W-160 Macro Focusing Rail makes creating high quality macro photos just that little bit easier. A frequently used technique in macro photography is focus stacking. This involves taking several photos of your subject while moving the camera slightly forwards or backwards. By not adjusting the focus, the focus on your subject will move a little bit each time. With a photo editing programme, the images can be merged. This way, you get much more sharpness in your image than you normally get in macro shots.

Easy to use
Setting up the Macro Sliding Plate is easy. On top, you mount your camera with the help of the wheel on the 1/4 inch connection. With the Arca-swiss mounting plate you can attach the focusing rail on top of your tripod head. With two dials on the front and back, you can move your camera setup precisely forward or backward. The distance indicator on the side gives you a good indication of the distance.
