Description

The Fotopro P-4H ball head was designed for the versatile Fotopro P-4 tripod, but you can successfully install it on other 3/8″ threads that are very popular in the film and photography industry. It features two independent rings for panning, an Arca-Swiss mounting plate lock for extra protection against slipping out, and a multi-stage clamping force adjustment clutch. The maximum load of the head can reach up to 8 kilograms, so you can easily install cameras with large lenses on it.

Precision and convenience

The head offers two modes of panning and allows tilting in the range of up to 90°. Each axis of movement can be locked with an independent knob. Such a solution will be appreciated not only by landscape photographers but also by video makers who care about quick and convenient adjustment of frames to their needs. A separate knob allows for adjustment of the friction force, adjusting the clamp to the weight of the equipment installed on the head. Whether you use a “portrait” or a long telephoto lens, the Fotopro P-4H can be optimally adjusted to your equipment.

The included quick release mounting plate is compatible with the popular Arca-Swiss standard. This makes it easy to install your camera on many other devices, without having to unscrew it from your camera every time you need another set of tools. The quick release has non-slip rubber facings that sit perfectly on the screwed-on equipment.

Security of your equipment

When working with Fotopro P-4H ball head, you can be sure that the quick-mount plate, on which the camera is installed, is definitely not in danger of accidental ejection. The knob regulating its clamping has a special button with the inscription “press”. The plate can only be removed when you simultaneously press it and rotate the whole element. The double lock is the best way to effectively secure the quick release plate!
