The 3 Legged Thing Stubz Short Center Column is made of aerospace-grade magnesium alloy and is an additional shorter center column for tripod users who sometimes want little or no column or need a little extra height. At just 10 cm long, Stubz is a great short alternative center column and travel companion.

Optimized for travel

The Stubz is only 10 cm long, allowing you to carry it in hand or carry-on luggage and other smaller bags. Made of aviation-grade magnesium alloy, the short replacement column is designed for tripod users who prefer not to use their center column but occasionally need some extra height. It has a 3/8 16 thread at the base so you can attach this shortened column to most tripod legs.

Its a great travel companion because it can be used with some of our other products, such as the Docz2 foot stabilizer, leveling base accessory, or our Mike and Jay leveling base tripods.
