A new addition to the Syrp family of motion control products, Syrp is an entry-level, affordable model for shooting time-lapse video with small DSLR/DSLM cameras. It offers Pan and Linear modes (both cannot be used simultaneously); the linear motion mode uses the included cable (the Shutter Link Cable for triggering recording/photography is sold separately).
The Genie One can be controlled remotely using the iOS/Android app and Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi. The app also allows you to create keyframes, update firmware, or call up presets ("Stars", etc.) for maximum ease of use. Although it is the basic model in the manufacturer's range, it can be combined with, for example, the Genie Mini II for motion control in up to three axes. Of course, it has a durable aluminium alloy body and an integrated battery with long battery life (up to 5 h for video shooting, max. 48 h for time-lapse photography; rechargeable via USB-C, 5V/3A approx. 2.5 h). The maximum load is 15 kg (when mounted vertically).
