New product
The FLIR C5 is a compact, professional thermal camera that you can use with all kinds of thermography. The thermal camera is equipped with a 160x120 VOx detector (19,200 pixels), offers a mix of visible and thermal images and is equipped with a 3.5 Inch touchscreen. The FLIR C5 features Wi-fi and Bluetooth and uploads your recordings directly to the FLIR Ignite™ Cloud.
MSX technology
The displayed image is a combination of a thermal image and a visual camera. This mixture of visual and thermal image is called MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging). The visual camera creates sharp, detail-rich contours, while the thermal image provides an image of temperature progression. Using the MSX slider, you can set the balance between visual/thermal image. You can also switch both off completely.
Measuring and visualising
You can actually measure temperatures with the FLIR C5, but also determine and set the temperature range (auto, manual or 1-touch level span). In order to display heat differences as comprehensibly as possible, the camera offers different colour palettes. For example, you can use the Grey pallet for the highest contrast, or 'Rainbow' to see the entire colour spectrum from the coldest to the warmest object.
Creating, storing and sharing images
The camera allows you to take photos and save them with corresponding parameters. Recorded images can then be automatically shared in the FLIR Ignite Cloud, where you can store and manage all your files, as well as share them directly with your team or clients. As soon as you have switched on MSX, photos are stored both in thermal and visible image. The visual camera resolution of 5 megapixels ensures that you can also take 'normal' photos in high quality, i.e. without a thermal image.
The FLIR C5 is an accessible but professional analysis accessory that you can use to visualise all kinds of heat problems. The compact thermal imaging camera is suitable for both business and personal use. For professional applications you can think of a maintenance service, plumber, real estate agent or consultancy. You can use the thermal imaging camera, for example, to detect overheating, moisture and draught leaks, or to monitor HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning). Additionally, you can also use the device, for example, to find your pets in the dark in your garden. The camera is IP54 certified, making it dust and splash proof and resistant to a fall from a height of 2 metres.
