This is a demo model whose padding in the packaging is not original.
With the Byomic Dobson Telescope SkyDiver 102/640 you get a wonderful telescope for observing the moon and planets. This is a demo model with slight signs of use in the Dobson mount. The damages do not otherwise affect the operation of the product. Because it can also be used to view nebulae and galaxies, the telescope is extremely suitable not only for children and novice astronomers, but also for amateurs.
The Byomic SkyDiver 102/640 is equipped with a Dobson mount making it easy to move the telescope azimuthally (horizontally and vertically). Because the Dobson telescope only needs to be placed on a flat surface you do not need much space and you can start observing immediately. The Dobson mount also ensures that the telescope can be stored quickly and takes up little space. The Byomic SkyDiver 102/640 has a handle made in the mount, making the telescope easy to carry and move.
The Byomic Dobson Telescope SkyDiver 102/640 is a powerful and simple telescope. Once the telescope is placed on a flat surface it is ready to use. The Dobson mount allows the telescope to easily move left and right as well as up and down. When the correct position is reached, it can be secured with the convenient locking knobs.
Two eyepieces are included, one with a focal length of 20 mm and one with 6 mm which allow magnifications of 32x and 107x respectively. When using the supplied Barlow lens, magnifications of up to 321x can be achieved.
It is recommended to start with a small magnification and expand it. When starting immediately with a high magnification (6 mm eyepiece) the results will usually not be satisfactory.
When an eyepiece is used with a large focal point and therefore low magnification, the eye will catch more light, giving a clearer image than when a large magnification is used with a smaller focal point.
Using the Red Dot finder, the telescope can easily be pointed at a celestial body. When looking through the Red Dot and you move the telescope so that the red dot is visible on a celestial body, you will also see it when looking through the eyepiece.
