Spotting scopes are powerful instruments equipped with a high magnification factor that are primarily built for observing animals from a safe distance as large as possible. But landscape observers or sports marksmen enjoy working with spotting scopes. The SC040 is equipped with a high-quality BAK4 Prisma (barium crown glass). This gives you a high level of detail resolution and a light and colour-true image. The FMC-coated (fully multi-coated) lenses provide additional quality when viewing.

Spotting scopes are mainly used during daylight. Thanks to the 70-mm lens diameter and the good quality of the glass, animals can be can viewed with accurate real-life detail, even at twilight. The walimex pro spotting scope, SC040 25 - 75 x 70 gives you up to 75 x magnification. The zoom is actioned via a smooth zoom ring on the eyecup.

To avoid shake over long distances, there is a small tripod in the set that can be attached to the adjustable tripod collar if desired. For safe storage and transportation, the SC040 comes in a comfortable shoulder bag.
