The Striplight Softbox from the Walimex pro Studio Line is a professional light shaper that allows a model to be effectively separated from the background. Brilliantly simple construction

No more inconvenient handling of rods and individual parts: The Quick Assemble “QA” softboxes from the Walimex pro Studio Line can – true to their name – be set up very quickly and very easily and, of course, dismantled and stowed away just as quickly after use. The ideal solution not only for photographers who need to quickly make space in the studio after shooting, but also for photographers who want to use the Striplight Softbox outdoors. Folded up and stored in the spacious carrying bag, the complete Striplight Softbox including softbox adapter (available separately for all flash systems), inner and outer diffuser and honeycomb or grid is so compact that it fits into every setup and is therefore always with you. To set it up, simply place the folded softbox on the floor with the speed ring / softbox adapter facing down and stretch the striplight softbox like an umbrella until the holder audibly and noticeably clicks into the umbrella pole. Then turn the assembled softbox over so that the speed ring is on top and fix the covering on the four lengthwise Velcro strips/flaps - this way everything is stretched tightly and no unwanted flash light can escape from the side. The Quick Assemble System lives up to its name and saves every photographer – whether beginner, amateur or professional – valuable time.

Connection for Bowens or Walimex pro flash systems and flash heads
The Striplight Softbox is connected to your Bowens or Walimex pro flash system or to your flash heads via the already installed softbox adapter. The softbox adapter can be exchanged and is compatible with other adapters with a diameter of 14 cm. The adapter is then simply placed in the speed ring (quick-change bayonet) and fixed with the four screws - and the striplight softbox is ready for use with your flash head. The softbox adapter can of course remain mounted for transport in the included carrying bag with a shoulder strap. Another gimmick: The type of softbox and the size information are printed on the various softbox bags - so the tedious search for the right softbox in the “light shaper pool” is finally a thing of the past and you can find the right light shaper in one go Hand.

Diffusers and grid included

In order to be able to use the Striplight Softbox for all desired lighting settings and to have complete freedom in modeling the image, the softbox comes with three accessories as standard: grid or honeycomb, inner diffuser and outer diffuser. The inner diffuser is simply connected to the tabs provided in the middle of the softbox using sewn-on Velcro straps. The outer diffuser is attached to the top end of the softbox using the wide Velcro strip. There is still enough space above that to be able to attach the grid or honeycomb. This is quick and gives the photographer more freedom and opportunity to experiment with the different inserts and attachments.
