Pentax HD FA 35mm f/2 for full-frame is a classic wide-angle lens with mechanical aperture ring, a minimum focus of just 30 cm and compact format that is great for everyday photography, street photography, travel and even portraits. The lens has a design that matches Pentax's latest DSLR cameras and weighs only 193 grams.
Pentax HD FA 35mm f/2 can also be used on cameras with APS-C sensors, where it acts as a normal lens.
Hybrid aspheric elements are used to assure maximum sharpness across the entire image even when using large apertures. Multilayer HD coating (High Definition antireflection treatment) on the glass surfaces increases light transmission and minimizes the risk of reflections, ghosting and veils that can reduce the image contrast.
The front element also has SP coating (Super Protect) that repels water and grease and makes it easy to clean. Lens hood is also included.
The Pentax smc FA 35mm f/2.0 AL is a semiwideangle lens with much of the normal lens perspective but a larger viewing angle. This lens has internal floating elements for optimal results throughout the focus range. Bright, light and sharp.
