Saramonic CamMic is a passive microphone that gives excellent sound quality when recording video for filmmakers and producers of sound. For better sound quality, the microphone comes with an integrated system of shock mount. This function fully isolates the microphone capsule from any type of shock and other physical factors that can affect the microphone (crackles, clicks) when recording video material. In addition, the microphone has a low-pass filter (80 Hz), which when activated allows to eliminate the cause of noise from low-frequency sounds. The quality of recorded sound is also influenced by a double windshield with a rubber band, which is perfectly profiled in relation to the microphone and gives the effect of warm sound. CamMic is equipped with a microphone input 3.5mm TRS. The microphone is compatible with most smartphone cameras and camcorders.

Its tight pickup area focuses directly in front of the microphone and allows you to adjust the low-cut filter (80Hz) to increase the intelligibility of dialogue. The integrated shock mount isolates your microphone from bumps and vibrations that could otherwise interfere with your sound.

Best used within 4 feet of the subject, the CamMic microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses the sound pickup in front of the camera while eliminating distracting background noises. Turning on the 80 Hz low-pass filter helps reduce unwanted low-frequency noise caused by traffic and air conditioning, making room for clearer speech and dialogue.

Built-in Shock Mount Reduces Vibrations and Shocks

A smart design feature of the CamMic microphone is the rugged integrated shock mount. It helps isolate the microphone from handling noise and vibration when you're in motion, significantly reducing low-pitched fogging.

The included dual-layer, sphere-like windscreen gives the CamMic microphone a sleek and functional look while blocking wind noise and protecting it from the elements.

Versatile Mounting Options

The CamMic's integrated locking microphone base mount has a 1/4-20 thread at the bottom and is ready to attach to your camera, gimbal, tripod, shoulder pole, or stand. The microphone can also be attached to a smartphone using the phone's tripod adapter clip equipped with a cold socket (available separately).
