The device offers the ability to change the colour of the light within the HSI colour space and 11 preset special effects. It is equipped with a magnet and a 1/4″ female thread. Included with the flash you will find a range of light modifiers (diffuser, honeycomb, streamer and gates) and a cold shoe adapter.

Magic of colours

The LEDs used in the Ulanzi L2 – RGB lamp will allow you to freely change the colour of the light within the HSI colour space. Adjusting the intensity and shade will give you access to thousands of possible combinations of settings. You can use the Ulanzi L2 – RGB to create a mood with colours, to emphasise emotions or to “paint” with coloured light (“light painting” technique).

4 light modifiers included

The Ulanzi L2 – RGB will allow you to gain new skills and build the mood of your scenes even more effectively with light. Included with the unit you will find 4 light modifiers that will significantly extend the functionality of the lamp.

• Diffuser – allows you to soften and diffuse the light. It helps you avoid harsh shadows. Modifier made of soft silicone in a milky colour.
• Grid (honeycomb) – allows you to limit the angle of the emitted light and direct it better. It allows you to illuminate the centre of the frame more accurately while dimming the edges.
• Windows – allow you to limit the light beam with 4 hinged wings.
• Strobe – allows you to focus the light beam at a specific point. It allows you to highlight a selected part of the frame.

Special effects

Video creators will certainly be pleased with the set of 11 ready-made special effects, which you can manage from the backlit screen. Amazing combinations of flashes and changing colours will allow you to use such simulations as a police car, ambulance, RGB strobe, party or fireworks show. You can customise each effect by changing the intensity.

Multiple mounting options

Hidden under the housing of the Ulanzi L2 – RGB lamp is a strong magnet, which will allow fast and secure mounting on metal surfaces. At the bottom of the unit you will also find a 1/4″ female thread. This allows you to install the lamp on tripods or “magic arm” holders. A cold shoe adapter is also included, which will allow you to connect the flash to the small rail that crowns most cameras.

Long runtime

By choosing the Ulanzi L2 – RGB lamp, you don’t have to spend money on batteries or look for access to an electrical outlet. The built-in 800 mAh battery provides between 65 minutes and 4 hours of operation, depending on the brightness level selected. The USB-C port will allow you to quickly top up the device with a power bank or smartphone charger, among other things.
