The Ulanzi VL196 – RGB, WB (2500 K – 9000 K) is a lightweight LED lamp the size of a smartphone. It comes with 2 light modifiers (milky diffuser and honeycomb) and a head that allows you to install the lamp on a cold shoe sled. The slim LED panel offers a large range of light colour temperature adjustment (from 2500 K to 9000 K), the possibility to change colour within the HSI colour space, as well as 20 ready-made special effects. The power source for the lamp is a built-in rechargeable battery (5000 mAh), which will provide up to 6 hours of continuous operation. The housing did not lack a 1/4″ thread and the popular USB-C port for convenient charging.

2 light modifiers included

The Ulanzi VL196 – RGB, WB (2500 K – 9000 K) LED light will allow you to gain new skills and build the mood of your scenes even more effectively with light. It comes with 2 silicone modifiers that you can quickly install on the panel to further extend its functionality.

• Diffuser – allows you to soften and diffuse the light. It avoids harsh shadows.
• Grid (honeycomb) – allows you to limit the angle of the emitted light and direct it better. It allows you to illuminate the centre of the frame more precisely, while dimming the edges.

Embedded mounting head

In addition to the light modifiers, you will find a small mounting head included with the Ulanzi VL196 – RGB lamp. It features an articulated joint for convenient angle adjustment. The adapter has a cold shoe, which you can install on a compatible rail (including the one that crowns most cameras). You will connect the flash to the head using a 1/4″ thread.

Multiple colours
