SiOnyx Aurora Dual Night Vision Helmet Bridge (Dovetail)

This SiOnyx Dual Helmet Bridge is a sturdy yet lightweight aluminum construction that allows you to attach your SiOnyx color night vision camera to a helmet and position it perfectly in front of your eye. You, as the user, will of course want to use the night viewer hands-free (night vision goggles).

What can I configure on this bridge?

The bridge is fully customizable. You can choose whether you want to hang the night vision camera in front of your left or right eye. You can also move the night scope horizontally and forwards/backwards to position it perfectly in front of your eye. You can also flip the night scope up sideways. Useful in situations when you want to quickly switch between night vision and your own visual sight.

How do I attach my night vision camera to the bridge?

You attach the Sionyx camera via the 1/4" threaded connection at the bottom. Both arms of this bridge have a male threaded connection, so you can choose for which eye you want to position the camera. After attaching it to the helmet bridge, the monocular is hanging upside down, but through the main menu you can click on "invert image". This will project the image in the correct way again.

How do I attach this bridge to my helmet?

This dual bridge has a Dovetail connection on the top. You can attach an NVG dovetail mount to this. An NVG (Night Vision Goggles) mount is the missing piece to attach this bridge to your helmet. Check out the images to see exactly what is meant by this. Please note that the NVG dovetail mount is not included, as there are different helmet types used in the market. Wilcox helmets are usually very popular. The different NVG dovetail mounts are available at many (web)shops.

Can I use more devices with this bridge?

Yes. In addition to all SiOnyx Aurora color night vision cameras, you can also use the bridge with the FLIR Breach PTQ136 thermal imaging camera (see optional accessories) by using a required rail adapter. What's more, you can even create a dual set (binocular), in which you have a SiOnyx color night vision camera for one eye and the FLIR Breach thermal imaging camera for the other. So you can easily switch between night vision, thermal imaging and your own vision.

Tip: on balance, it is considerably more economical to order this helmet mount in a tactical/airsoft combo than to order all accessories separately (see optional accessories).
