Fastest lens in the world
Absolute world novelty: With a lens speed of 0.85 the HandeVision IBELUX 40 mm / 0,85 currently is the fastest lens for system cameras in the world! This enables optimal exposure in almost any situation – even under poor light conditions, such as e.g. in ballrooms or closed rooms. Luminous exposure problems at weddings or parties are therefore problems of days gone by.
Standard focal length with valuable details
Due to the standard focal length, the lens is used in a vast amount of different areas. With its low focal depth and a unique bokeh, the lens is particularly suitable for especially emphasizing a desired motif. The lens speed can be selected on the lens with whole detents ranging from 0.85 to 22. Manual focussing and exposure time setting. The near focussing limit is 0.75 m, the filter thread has a diameter of 67 mm. Particularly convenient: An integrated lens hood, which is immediately available when needed. Lens not suitable for OMD EM-1!
Multi-coated lenses for optimal photo results
A highly sophisticated optical design with 10 multi-coated lenses in 8 groups ensures excellent imaging quality. The multi-coated lenses prevent reflections and thus supply the image with more light. Moreover, the coating also enhances the contrast and results in a more brilliant colour rendering.
German development – excellent quality
The HandeVision IBELUX 40 mm / 0.85 has been 100% developed by the German lens specialist IB/E Optics and convinces with sophisticated engineering skills. Concerning the mechanics, great importance was attached to a long lasting and extremely robust metal structure. Here mainly anodized aluminium, brass for the focus mechanics and stainless steel are used.
