New product
SAMYANG MF 14MM F/2.8 MK2 is a manually focused super wide-angle lens for full frame cameras but can also be used on cameras with smaller sensor formats, such as APS-C or Micro Four Thirds. It is popular with both travel, nature and astrophotographers due to its high optical performance.
Two new features are Focus Lock and Declick. Now it´s possible to “Lock” the focus which is great for instance when shooting astrophotography and video, and the “Declick” aperture allows fine adjustment without clicking between F-stops. This effectively eliminate any unwanted differences in brightness.
The 14mm optical design consists of 14 elements in 10 groups. 3 High Refractive Lenses, 1 Hybrid Aspherical Lens, 1 Aspherical Lens, and 2 Extra-low Distortion lenses.
Environmental seals are located at the lens mount area to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain drops. This feature provides an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under harsh weather conditions.
