The Laowa 15 mm f/2.0 Zero-D is the world's brightest 15 mm focal length rectilinear lens developed for use with Nikon Z cameras.
High brightness combined with a wide angle of view (110°) makes the lens perform well in many fields of photography, especially landscape, travel, or astrophotography. The extremely compact design is appreciated by reportage enthusiasts, and the infinitely variable aperture setting proves its worth when shooting video. Also noteworthy is the lens's short minimum focusing distance of just 15 cm.
The optical construction of the lens consists of twelve elements arranged in nine groups. Three low dispersion lenses and two aspherical glasses ensure the highest image quality, edge-to-edge, even at wide-open aperture. Unlike competing wide-angle lenses, the front lens of the Laowa 15 mm f/2.0 allows the fitting of standard photographic filters (72 mm in diameter). This feature is sure to be appreciated by all landscape and architectural enthusiasts.
The smallest dimensions and lowest weight among lenses with a similar focal length make the Laowa D-Dreamer 15 mm f/2.0 Zero-D lens an ideal travel companion, as well as a handy tool for the everyday photography enthusiast.
