The name says it: our new floor stand Ground Rocker GR230 is like a rock in the surf. It is the absolutely stable and ideal solution fort he use of background spots, ground light or for realizing ground-level camera shots.

The walimex pro floor stand Ground Rocker GR230 is the perfect thing for your heavy equipment - a tripod that on the one hand can withstand high payloads but on the other hand does not build up high.

Especially with the use of heavy film lights or flash heads, a sturdy, stable tripod is indispensable. However, as soon as camera positions or image perspectives near the ground are desired or a heavy flash head are used for background illumination, conventional tripods can no longer be used: due to their type of construction, they can not be retracted far enough or not be adjusted deep enough to the light source or the camera position accordingly.

With the Ground Rocker GR230 we finally have an extremely stable and with a maximum load of 18 kg also sufficiently strong floor stand, which allows a working height of only 14 cm! The three jibs have a length of 23 cm each and ensure a very secure stand with the rubberized feet.

The built-in ball head with the sophisticated adjustment mechanism allows stepless adjustment or positioning of your equipment and can be firmly locked. The ball head accommodates equipment and devices with 3/8 inch thread and the supplied adapter reduces this 3/8 inch thread to 1/4 inch. Thus, you are perfectly equipped and prepared for every situation and piece of equipment.

Despite its sturdy construction, the Ground Rocker GR230 only has a pack size of 25.5 cm when folded and fidns it space in every bag and backpack.

We are very fond of using the Ground Rocker GR230 as a solid floor stand and secure mount for timelapse recordings in extreme weather conditions and also use it as a stable mount for our cameras for filming motor races very close to the circuit.
