Nanlux A Leader in LED Lighting Innovation
Nanlux consistently leads in innovation and improvement in the field of motion picture LED lighting. We've taken a significant step forward by integrating the ultra-high output of a 4KW HMI or a 10KW Tungsten with a Green-Magenta adjustment across the CCT range. The Evoke 2400B, with robust IP55 weather-resistant housings for both the light head and power supply, boasts a form factor much lighter than other models with the same output. Introducing the new leader of the Evoke family the Evoke 2400B.
With a rated power of only 2400W, the Evoke 2400B offers outstanding efficiency as an LED, providing powerful light output beyond that of a 4KW HMI or 10KW Tungsten. Compared to traditional light sources, the Evoke 2400B offers advantages like no preheating or cool-down time delays, flicker-free operation, 0.0-100.0 dimming, and an adjustable color temperature. These features offer greater flexibility, ease of lighting setups, and time-saving during shooting sessions.
Traditional bi-color LED lights create the desired color temperature by mixing outputs from two different color temperature chip arrays. This approach has its drawbacks the middle of the color temperature range often appears slightly magenta, while the extremes tend toward green. To resolve this, Nanlux has added a green and magenta color adjustment function to the Evoke 2400B, ensuring the color temperature remains consistent along the Planck curve and resolving green and magenta issues.
Beyond the G/M auto-calibration, the Evoke 2400B's industry-leading G/M adjustment function offers an extra G/M80 uv range throughout the entire CCT range. This feature provides creators with a new dimension of creativity. It can be used to match different light sources on set or fixtures from other manufacturers, simplifying post-production. It also aids in fine-tuning the image's look, such as adding a magenta tint to enhance skin tones or creating a special atmosphere with a green tint.
Nanlux has refined the Evoke 2400B's color reproduction capabilities in terms of rendering, fidelity, and saturation, ensuring outstanding performance for technically demanding productions.
The Evoke 2400B continues to employ the rugged and durable metal construction of the Evoke family, with an IP55 rating for both the lamp head and power supply. Magnesium alloy is used innovatively for an ideal strength-to-weight ratio, enabling a lighter fixture body than other lights with the same power output. Despite the IP55 rating and 2400W power, the lamp head weighs only 15kg/33lbs, 25 less than a traditional HMI light of the same brightness. With a 100 increase in rated power compared to the Evoke 1200B, the Evoke 2400B's power supply weighs only 1kg/2.2lbs more than the original. Its combination of lightweight and ruggedness makes it a vital tool in various production setups.
The fixture is equipped with four buttons, three knobs, and a 3.5-inch LCD screen, providing an intuitive and straightforward user interface for control. The brightness can be switched between 0.0 and its currently set dimming position by short pressing the knob. The Evoke 2400B's brightness can be adjusted in 0.1 increments, allowing users to smoothly fine-tune dimming from 0.0 to 100.0 on the fixture. More comprehensive wired and wireless control methods cater to various demands in different production scenarios.
The Evoke 2400B has a wire controller port on the lamp head, allowing wire control communication through the wire controller (under development). This offers a convenient option for accurate and reliable control.
The fixture body comes with a 5-pin XLR DMX in & out port, supporting DMX/RDM control through a wired connection to a lighting control console. This ensures stable communication and meets the needs of film and television production teams requiring accurate and reliable group control in complex lighting systems.
The Evoke 2400B incorporates two LAN ports, supporting Ethernet control based on the Art-Net/sACN protocol. This allows for longer signal transmission distances than traditional DMX cables and efficient control across multiple universes.
The Evoke 2400B is controllable by the NANLINK wireless control system through built-in 2.4G and Bluetooth modules, enabling quick and precise control through personal devices.
CRMX Through the LumenRadio TimoTwo module, the Evoke 2400B can transmit or receive CRMX signals, easily cooperating with other lighting fixtures.
The Evoke 2400B features a new generation adjustable cooling system with four fan modes SMART, FULL SPEED, LOW SPEED, and OFF. This meets various shooting and sound recording requirements while maintaining a noise level of only 29 dBA under SMART mode.
This system focuses on both heat dissipation and noise dampening, benefiting all productions, especially interviews, by eliminating distracting fan noise.
