The PR-2 can wirelessly sync timecode from the Deity TC-1, simplifying the addition of timecode metadata to WAV files for easier post-production syncing. It can be remotely controlled via the Sidus Audio app, allowing adjustments from up to 250ft away, which is beneficial for quick changes in recording setups.
Featuring a triple-tap locking method to prevent accidental recording stops, the PR-2 also has a headphone output for monitoring lavalier sound quality and can output timecode. This enables quick recording setups, such as syncing with a camera and recording interviews seamlessly. The device operates on 2 AA batteries, providing nearly 30 hours of battery life.
