Foma Retro Special is a two-component (not two-bath) film developer designed for the manual processing of black and white negative films, especially the Foma Retropan 320 Soft film. It can also be used to develop other sorts of black and white roll or sheet films.
The powder is to be dissolved in 700 ml of warm water (40°C) and then the solution is filled up with water to the final volume of one liter.
One package of the powder is sufficient to develop 1,3 sqm of film material or the following amount of sheet films: 25 sheets of 8 × 10 inches, 50 sheets of 5 × 7 inches, 100 sheets of 4 × 5 inches; further e.g. 36m of perforated film of a width of 35mm equal to 25 pcs of 135-36 film.
