The Ricoh GR IIIx HDF is equipped with a new filter function that enhances personal storytelling. Users can seamlessly switch to the new integrated HDF (Highlight Diffusion Filter) with one action. The HDF highlights and softens images, creating a nostalgic feel reminiscent of film photography or cinematic images.
Visual Expression
To symbolize the simple change in visual expression, the switch button is now in a gunmetal color. The default setting of the Fn (function) button has also been changed to toggle HDF on/off. Users can choose another function as the default setting for the Fn button.

The Ricoh GR IIIx HDF features a sharp 26.1mm GR lens, providing a versatile 40mm view in 35mm format. The camera boasts improved post-processing functions for image editing customization.
Hybrid AF System
The GR IIIx is equipped with a hybrid AF system that combines contrast-detection AF for higher focusing precision and phase-detection AF for fast focusing. The AF system accurately detects faces or eyes during autofocus, indicating the focus position on the LCD display.
