New product
The Ricoh GR III HDF is equipped with a new filter function that enhances storytelling. Users can seamlessly switch to the new integrated HDF (Highlight Diffusion Filter) with one action. The new filter highlights key points and provides softened, dreamy images. The HDF creates a nostalgic feel reminiscent of film photography or cinematic images.
To symbolize the simple change in visual expression, the switch button is now in a gunmetal color. The default setting of the Fn (function) button has also been changed to toggle HDF on/off. Users can choose another function as the default setting for the Fn button.
The Ricoh GR III HDF is a compact camera designed for serious photography, offering performance similar to a system camera in a pocket-sized design. With manual exposure and essential controls, including compatibility with external flash units, it provides versatility. Weighing only 257 grams, its durable magnesium alloy body features well-placed buttons and two command dials for intuitive operation. It offers automatic exposure modes and autofocus functions for quick and reliable focusing in various lighting conditions.
The cameras APS-C sensor ensures excellent image quality even at high ISO settings, with a sensitivity range up to ISO 102,400. Image stabilization compensates for camera shake, allowing sharp images at lower shutter speeds. The wide-angle lens, incorporating LD glass and aspherical elements, ensures sharpness from edge to edge, while the built-in ND filter allows shooting in bright conditions with shallow depth of field. Sharing photos is easy with built-in wireless functions and the Ricoh Image Sync app, providing social media connectivity and remote camera control.
