Viltrox S 56mm T1.5 is a very bright film lens for M43 cameras with APS-C matrix. The optical design of the lens consists of 10 elements in 9 groups. The lens is made of high quality metal.
Focus is set manually using a profiled ring. Also, the aperture is changed using a dedicated ring. Thanks to the changed sharpening structure compared to photographic lenses, there is no focus breeching effect, i.e. narrowing the viewing angle with a change in sharpness. The lens is characterized by very good sharpness, while a pleasant blur is provided by a 14-year-old aperture.
