Quick release plates
Thanks to the double-layered quick release plates, mounting the camera on the RS 3 is quick and convenient, without the need to re-balance the gimbal after changing a new battery or memory card. A newly added knob for fine-tuning the tilt axis allows the camera to be moved forward or backward with millimetre precision, making it easier to achieve accurate balance when changing lenses.

Automatic axis locks
RS 3 allows you to take immediate action. When the gimbal is off, press and hold the power button and all three axes will unlock and the gimbal will automatically adjust, allowing you to start working in seconds. Press the power button once and the axes will automatically lock and go into sleep mode, making transport and travel significantly more efficient. Press and hold the power button and the gimbal will automatically fold and lock.

Wireless shutter control
By implementing Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 3 supports wireless shutter control, saving time and effort with every use. After initial pairing via Bluetooth, you can control video recording and photo taking by simply pressing the record button on the stabilizer. Previously paired cameras automatically reconnect after the first use, eliminating the need to use a cable to control the camera.

Excellent weight to load ratio
Weighing just 1.3kg (including gimbal, battery grip and quick release plates), the RS 3 is easy to hold in one hand, while its 3kg load capacity is more than enough to support common cameras, including the Sony A7 or Canon R5 with a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

The 3rd generation RS stabilization algorithm
With the next-generation RS stabilization algorithm, the RS 3 provides greater stability in any situation. Lab testing shows that RS 3 delivers a 20% increase in stability over RSC 2, effortlessly handling low-angle shots or on the fly or switching between high and low positions.

Beyond smoothness
For even smoother results, turn on SuperSmooth mode. The RS 3 will increase motor torque to further improve stabilization, allowing you to take stable shots even in high-speed situations or when using lenses with a 100mm equivalent focal length.

1.8" OLED touch screen
Compared to the RSC 2's monochrome screen, the RS 3 features a 1.8" full-colour OLED touchscreen display that is 80% larger. It also supports most of Ronin's settings and provides intuitive and precise control along with a redesigned user interface.

Instant mode switching
Simply slide the new gimbal mode switch to toggle between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt Follow and FPV modes. For FPV mode, you can also choose between 3D Roll 360, Portrait or Custom, allowing you to set up your gear and start shooting quickly.

Customizable front rotary dial
Turn the front dial to control zoom or focus. It can also be customised to control shutter, aperture, ISO, or camera gimbal movements, making it extremely suitable for one-handed operation.

Smartphone monitoring
The RS 3 supports the Ronin Image Transmitter (formerly known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter) for transmitting HD live streaming at 1080p/30fps directly to a mobile device. The maximum transmission distance is 200 meters and the end-to-end latency is only 60 ms. The smartphone can also be connected to the RS 3's NATO bar via a phone mount for wireless monitoring.

Integrated monitoring and control
You can remotely adjust the camera exposure directly in the Ronin app or control the gimbal using the virtual joystick. This gives you a complete monitoring and control experience.

Force Mobile
With the Ronin Image Transmitter, a smartphone can be used as a motion controller to remotely control the RS 3 gimbal to achieve more flexible and dynamic camera movements.

Quick release design
The new RS 3 battery grip features a cassette design that makes changing batteries easier and is smaller and easier to store compared to the RSC 2. It can even be charged independently of the gimbal. The new battery grip provides an extended battery life of up to 12 hours, enough to handle continuous all-day shooting. It supports 18W PD fast charging with a charge time of just 2.5 hours. It can even be used while charging, for nearly unlimited power to the RS 3.

Briefcase Handle
The redesigned Briefcase Handle is collapsible for convenient storage and comes with a new ergonomic handle that makes it easier and faster to install and switch to Briefcase mode. The built-in adapter and 1/4"-20 mounting threads can be connected to external monitors for easier shooting, making low-angle camera movement more intuitive.

Brand new focusing motor
The next-generation DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) delivers three times more torque (up to 1 Nm) and reduces noise by 50%. This delivers smoother focusing and reduces the impact on sound recording. It also has a quick-release structure for faster use, allowing for easy assembly without any tools.

Vertical camera mount
Install the vertical mount to vertically connect the camera to the RS 3, avoiding the camera ports, allowing you to easily shoot in portrait from different angles, for high-quality social content.
