The FeiyuTech Scorp-C is a state-of-the-art gimbal designed for DSLR and mirrorless cameras with a maximum weight of 2.5 kg. Two handles allow comfortable and stable guidance of the camera in different positions. The device can be controlled with buttons and a built-in joystick or using a mobile app. The gimbal is compatible with follow focus systems. An ergonomic knob is placed on its housing to control motor movements or other parameters. Automation and special modes will allow you to realise complex shots and discover new layers of creativity. The built-in rechargeable battery will provide up to 13 hours of uninterrupted operation. To place the device on a flat surface, you can use the fold-out stand or the included tripod.

Ergonomic control panel

The Scorp-C model features an ergonomic control panel where you’ll find function buttons, a precision joystick and LEDs indicating charge level, mode of operation and Bluetooth connectivity. It is here that you select which axes you want the device to operate within, centre the gimbal, perform a 180º (Pan) rotation, start recording or take a photo. Combined with the “Magic Wheel” knob and joystick, you get a powerful tool that will enable you to work comfortably and conveniently.

5 different stabilisation modes

The FeiyuTech Scorp-C handheld gimbal for VDSLR cameras offers 5 stabilisation modes. With these, you can adapt the characteristics of the device to the specific shots you want to take. The fine-tuned brushless motors allow you to achieve perfect smoothness of movements, varying speeds of reaction and changing the position of the camera within the selected axes.

• Panning mode (PF) – in this mode, the camera smoothly follows the rotation of the handle while maintaining a constant position relative to the horizon line.
• Lock mode (Lock) – the camera lens maintains a fixed direction – rotation on all axes is locked in a predefined position.
• Tracking mode (PTF) – in this mode, the camera smoothly follows the rotation of the handle and in up-down directions.
• Mode of multi-axis tracking (FPV) – the camera lens smoothly follows the movement of the gimbal handle in all three axes.
• Fast response mode (FFW) – the camera quickly and dynamically follows the movement of the handle while maintaining a constant position relative to the horizon line.

Fast and convenient balancing

The FeiyuTech Scorp-C offers up to 5 balance adjustment points. Thanks to them, you can balance your camera perfectly. This task will be even easier thanks to special movable markers with a red dot, with which you will determine the optimal position for the rails. The gimbal is also equipped with ergonomic locks. All these facilities will allow you to quickly and conveniently prepare the device for work. Magic Wheel

The “Magic Wheel” dial is a proven way to make your gimbal’s movements within the selected axis even more precise. You can also use it to control a follow focus module purchased separately. Remote control via app

In the Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS) you will find the free Feiyu SCORP app. With it, you can quickly personalise your device’s settings and remotely control its movements. The app will allow you to configure the sensitivity of the motors and the speed of response, automatically calibrate the gimbal, download software updates, and run the joystick on the touchscreen of your smartphone.

Up to 13 hours of operation on a single charge

The FeiyuTech Scorp-C handheld gimbal for VDSLR cameras has a built-in 2500 mAh battery. It can provide up to 13 hours of continuous use as long as you balance the device properly. Convenient charging is provided by the USB-C port. Thanks to Quick Charge technology, it will take around 1.6 h to fully replenish power. Just 5 minutes of charging is enough to extend the working time of the gimbal by 30 minutes! And if you’re planning a really long shooting day, the FeiyuTech Scorp-C will easily connect to a power bank that can power the device during use.

Great versatility of use

Working with the FeiyuTech Scorp-C gimbal doesn’t have to be limited to “handheld” shots! The 1/4″ thread will allow you to install the device on a tripod, slider or monopod. For the sake of the highest comfort of work, an additional handle has also been taken care of, which you will find in the set. It will allow you to grip the gimbal with both hands, providing even more certainty in guiding the movements of the camera. The accessory also acts as a tripod, which will come in handy when balancing. But that’s not all! If your luggage won’t accommodate a mini tripod, the Scorpion’s fold-out legs will replace it, allowing you to set the gimbal on a flat surface.

Definition of A and B points

Being able to store the positions of all the axes of the gimbal and activate these settings using the “A” and “B” buttons is a real “gamechanger” when it comes to shooting video footage. Just one click is enough! If you work with a follow focus system you will appreciate this solution even more. Thanks to the predefined focus points, you can quickly and conveniently render the depth of your frames. Two different focus settings, which you activate with a single click, will make your work even more convenient, without having to turn the ring every time you want to highlight a specific object in the foreground or background.
