Simply threefold practical: the 3 sections can be adapted to suit the current purpose. But they are not only strong as a team, they also do a really good job separately. The telescopic pole, which is held by a sturdy clamp, brings a particulary high degree of flexibilty to the studio. You can extend the telescopic section from 79 to 153 cm and use it with a spigot connection. The main section can be attached to the variable tilt connection and measures 79 cm . And if things do get heavy: The centre piece with the tilt connection ( gallows) is connected with a clamp into which you can insert 2 sections and screw them tight.
This multifunctional extension arm is guaranteed to do a good job in the photostudio and video production , because despite the sturdy construction with a tube diameter of 2,5 cm and 2,8 cm it is a real lightweight with only 1160 g . In addition, the powder-coated aluminium for less relfection is easy to handle. You can ensure the right balance for heavy weight lamps with the supplied conterweight bag . Simply fill the two cpompartments of the bag and with the the practical strap, yu can quickly attach the conterweight to the boom arm.
But notice: For maximum stability the conterweight must correspond to the weight of the mounted studio flash or light shaper! You should not exceed the realistic maximum load of 3 to 4 Kg when using the extension arm.
