The optics are sealed with O rings to prevent the entry of moisture, dust and dirt. The binoculars are also gas filled to ensure waterproof and condensation free performance.
Optical quality
The Vortex Viper has an 8x magnification and delivers a clear, high contrast image with true to life colours. This is made possible by the use of HD glass with extra low dispersion and special dielectric coating. Light transmission is optimized by Vortexs anti reflective coating. The lenses have the extremely hard and scratch resistant ArmorTek coating, which protects the surface from scratches, grease and other dirt.
