The knobs on the sides cause the elements inserted into the crossbar to expand and the background is blocked in it. The drive is equipped with a special chain with a weight to ensure proper tension.
The system has a lock to prevent accidental unwinding and a screw that allows you to adjust the clamping force depending on the weight of the background being used. This system can work with backgrounds of any width. It can also combine any number of drives on one background hanger. The minimum diameter of the bar with which it can be used is 45mm and the maximum is 65mm.
