Description

The Commlite CM-EF-EOS R is a state-of-the-art bayonet adapter that allows a wide range of Canon EF lenses for digital SLR cameras to be mounted on bodies with a Canon RF mount. The Commlite CM-EF-EOS R features advanced electronics to ensure efficient two-way communication between the camera and lens.

Fast and intuitive installation

The bayonet adapter provides a link between lenses and camera bodies belonging to different systems. It is mounted on the camera body bayonet in the same way that lenses are mounted. The lens of your choice is then attached to the bayonet adapter. The whole process is quick and intuitive.

EXIF data

The electronic circuit built into the adapter allows EXIF data to be transferred from the lens. This will provide your files with valuable data on the position and equipment used.

AF System Support

Full support of the autofocus system will enable you to get perfectly sharp images in a fraction of a second. The unit’s gold-plated contacts ensure high conductivity, resulting in faster response times and faster operation.

Full control

The CM-EF-EOS electronic chip will allow you to control the aperture settings of the lens mounted on it. You can also easily work in automatic modes, where the camera selects the aperture, exposure time and ISO sensitivity of the sensor on its own.

Depending on the mode you select, the camera can choose the aperture automatically or you can control it yourself from the buttons, camera menu or lens rings.

Always sharp photos

The adapter has been adapted for use and cooperation with lenses equipped with image stabilisation. This function will give you extra comfort when working in poor lighting conditions, shooting on the move or filming.

Quality and precision

The adapter is made with extreme care, using durable aluminium and the highest quality plastics. The compact design and removable foot allows the mounting of lenses with a wide barrel. The satin interior finish minimises the risk of flare and blips, and the 1/4″ female tripod mount will allow you to mount on a tripod.
